This is a question I felt I must address since I am writing this blog on topic(s) which are massively controversial and easily judged one way or another, depending upon who is reading. I must state that my goal is to state facts and truths not simply opinions. I also am using my own personal experiences here, which one may judge, if one wishes. However my purpose for putting myself “out there” is to help people and if I get judged for that, I’m okay with it.
The American Heritage Dictionary states the following for JUDGMENT: 1. The act or process of judging. 2. The mental ability to form an opinion, distinguish relationships, or draw sound conclusions. 3. An opinion or estimate formed after due consideration. 4. A judicial decision.
In this blog I will be stating my own formed opinions and drawing conclusions based on my mental ability and drawing, hopefully, sound conclusions to those opinions via my judgments. If you disagree with me, I don’t mind. Opinions are like noses, everyone has one, Right?
Biblically speaking, Judgment is a much more serious matter and is TOTALLY UP TO GOD. He is the only righteous judge.
Here are some selected Bible verses on Judgment:
Here is everyone’s “favorite” listed first:
Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why behold thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but consider not the beam that is in your own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of your eye; and, behold, a beam is in your own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye; and then shall you see clearly to cast out the mote out of your brother’s
—Matthew 7:1
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment
-John 7:24
I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
—Matthew 12:36-37
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
—John 5:24
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
—Romans 8:1
And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,
—Hebrews 9:27
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
—Revelation 20:12-15
The above are just a few of the MANY Bible scriptures referring to Judgment.

May we as Christians use sound judgment in the fear and admonition of the Lord Jesus.
